Thought I should probably mention that this artwork is somewhat inspired by the concepts in the books His Dark Materials' by Philip Pullman ~in particular, Northern Lights (also called The Golden Compass). I love the concept of daemons & the race of witches who fly using their magic bows. Also, the parallel universes & 'Dust' are ideas that always made me imagine dramatically lit landscapes and swirling skies of stars...
