Yes, I'm still alive! I don't check in to DA very often these days due to the fact I'm not an octopus. 
Though I have to say I miss the community here and often wish I could freeze time for just a few weeks so I can catch up on all the new artwork I've glimpsed in my inbox. Wow! You've all been busy.
And so have I.

Why so busy? I've been settling into my new home and working very hard on my other business 'Thistle and Fox' where I design fabric and create things from the fabrics I've designed. This takes up almost all my time now so new artwork from me trickles out slowly (usually once a year when I'm rushing to get my calendar artwork submitted).

Such is life

By my reckoning it has been many months...maybe even years since I last logged in to dA. I'm not quite back and I haven't really left so if you're dropping back here occasionally to check on my activity you might see the occasional submission and a few little commission tidbits...

There are lots of things going on in my studio at the moment. Too many to count! First of all, I'm moving house again!
This time its a bigger space and exceptionally beautiful place where I will have a few months to settle in and create before I have to pack it all up and move again... but who knows what the future will bring? Perhaps I'll be able to really settle in if I get really lucky and find someone to share with.

Taking it one day at a time and ticking off all the projects that I am gradually completing. It has been almost 3 years since I finished a personal work so I made the decision quite recently to concentrate on some personal projects this year. I am still taking commissions, though very selectively. You can check out my Etsy shop to book custom art or contact me via my website.

I'm looking forward to seeing some of the things I've missed this past year so I'll be flitting around looking at all my fav galleries over the next few weeks. Maybe I'll stop for a moment and say hello ;)

It's been far too long since I stopped in to dA for more than a brief dash to check urgent messages...
and it will have to remain so for just a little while longer. As of today, it is one week until moving day!

Coming Soon: 'Building a Studio'. All my plans to have my studio started by now went down the drain when my car exploded in a cloud of smoke. Epic timing.
Not so sure I deserved that Karma. But thanks for the reality check. I'll know better next time than to believe I can save money for things I actually want to spend it on.

Anyway, that brings me neatly to how much I need to get the print orders flowing in... can you help me with this?
