I cannot thank you all enough for the huge response to this piece. It feels somewhat strangely coincidental that I should be wondering about to fate of that drawing less than 12 hrs before it gets such high praise from the dA community. I am so chuffed. I really am.

Why was I wondering about its fate? Well, its been quite a few months since it was sent off to its owner but I haven't heard from them and they haven't replied to any messages! I hope nothing terrible has happened...




Anyway,

I have news. In the past few weeks I have been working like a crazy lady completing commissions, I've been to hospital once and nearly a second time (though have managed to pull myself back from the brink by keeping fluids down this time), I've been treating my dog for her recently diagnosed epilepsy and not having alot of success because she is still having multiple seizures every month and injuring herself in the process, I have exhibited my work in a group exhibition, arranged a stall at a big craft fair next month, opened another etsy store (with a new label) and designed a website (which I will show you soon), Oh, and I also made over 200 new pieces of jewellery for Jasper and Pearl AND started a new casual job at a different vet practice. And that is just the condensed version of what I've been doing.   

Anyone wish to swap horror stories for this month? I'm really sorry if I haven't replied to a message or been able to comment on your new work lately. As you can see, time is a short little gnome with a pointy stick.

If it wasn't for my broken down car I would have had enough savings to actually pay my rent this month! But as it happens, cars are unreliable and a total waste of resources (I hate them, I hate them, I hate them!) but unfortunately, it is  necessary to repair said car if you live half an hour from work and there is no public transport. *sigh*

Ok, thats my venting done for the day. I am trying to maintain a healthy level of emotional calm. I may have to take out all my frustrations in writing these unread journals occasionally.
