Read this"...the term "silhouette" is used to describe the sight or representation of a person, object or scene that is backlit, and appears dark against a lighter background"
Examples:
Your entry does not have to be dark against light
It can be light against dark...
The Silhouette can be the main theme or a minor theme...
As long as there is some reference to a silhouette somewhere in the artwork it will be accepted as an entry.
However, I have very high standards
So make sure you put alot of effort into your entries because I'm looking for something outstanding!

Medium:Open to the following visual media
Photography, Traditional Art, Digital Art, Artisan Crafts
All entries will be judged for creativity in the interpretation of the theme, technical skill and aesthetic appeal.
Deadline: The contest runs from May 31st until July 31st (2 months)
Judge: Contest Rules
You can enter as many times as you like, but you can only win once.
If you want to avoid competing against yourself, you might want to choose just one entry, your best.
It is not quantity that wins, it is QUALITY. The entry has to be made specially for this contest & must be uploaded after the start date (May 31st) and before the deadline (July 31st)
Make sure you submit your entry into the correct dA gallery. In other words: If your entry is a digital painting, submit it to 'Digital Art: Painting, and follow dA rules about what you can & cannot submit to dA.
If its not in the right place before you send your entry to me, it wont be entered until you put it right.
Send your entry link or thumb code in a note to me please.

This is kind of like getting a FREE commission, except that you will be limited to suggesting a theme for me to interpret as I wish. The outcome of the finished artwork will be decided by me. I will send you a small print of the finished work but the artwork will remain mine to use as I please ~ just so we understand each other Ok, go get started. I want to be amazed & delighted!
